Roc expanding Taranaki play

ROC Oil has applied for an extension to its offshore Taranaki Kaheru lease, almost doubling the size of the permit to ensure it captures all of the promising prospect and any other nearby plays or leads.

According to the government's Crown Minerals Group, Roc has applied for a 140.4 square kilometre extension to north, northeast and south of the original 171.5sq.km licence PEP 52181 that it won last May....
