Bulu partners spud Liyun probe

AWE and its partners have spudded the Liyun-1 exploration well in the Bulu production-sharing contract offshore East Java, Indonesia.

The well targets the early Miocene Kujung I reef carbonates on a fault block with the potential to hold 75 million barrels of oil. The carbonates are currently producing in acreage east of the Bulu PSC....
