Texon, Austin's first wells performing in the US

TEXON Petroleum's first Mosman-Rockingham well in Texas has encountered oil and gas shows in the Olmos reservoir, while Austin is aiming to move the Ellislie Plantation-1 well at the Armstrong project in Mississippi into production as quickly as possible.

The oil and gas shows in MR-1, which were at the expected depth of 2806m, are the same type as and a similar thickness to the Olmos reservoir at Leighton where Texon has five producing wells. The well...
