Blue drilling ahead in Surat

BLUE Energy's quest for reserves certification in the Surat Basin is progressing with the company drilling the last well in its three-well program to evaluate the Walloon Coal Measures in ATP 854P.

The company said the Lucas-Mitchell Rig 180 started drilling Itude-3 on July 25 and was coring ahead at 221m. Itude-3 will be drilled to a depth of about 380m to evaluate the Walloon Coal Measures....
