Metgasco encouraged by Corella well

METGASCO has had promising results from the Corella-E17 coal seam gas exploration well in the Clarence-Moreton Basin, New South Wales, and believes the well will produce gas at rates comparable to the nearby Corella-P11 well.

The company said the well, which intersected the Walloon Coal Measures from 377m, flowed 30,000 cubic feet of gas per day without pumping on a short-term production test. Water production was also recorded...
