RED Fork Energy has had another drilling success at its Osage project in Oklahoma, with news that...

The junior explorer reported that the Redfork-2-32 well also encountered a good gas show in the Red Fork Sand, a conventional gas zone with demonstrated production potential.

A full suite of logs has been completed, with production casing run and cemented.

The well is expected to be completed and tied into production infrastructure in the March quarter.

Two wells – Redfork 1-18 and Redfork 1-20 – will be drilled in the current program, with both aimed at testing deeper conventional oil and gas zones as well as the shallower coals.
