Bow revisits Don Juan drilling

DON Juan joint venture operator Bow Energy has restarted drilling of the third exploration well a...

The Carnarvon-1 well intersected the Walloon coal measures at a depth of 57m, with drilling to continue to 300m.

This well is about 19km east of the program’s previous well, Orallo North-1, and 20km southeast of the first well, Taringa South-1.

Early next month, Bow plans to move towards reserves certification by drilling several coreholes and additional pilot wells.

As well as the CSM program, Bow also plans to participate in three conventional oil exploration wells early this year.

These will include an exploration well to test a shallow oil target in the Don Juan area (Bow 76%) as indicated on the attached map and the first two oil exploration wells as part of a multi-well farm-in program by Santos in permit ATP 752P, located in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin (Bow 15% post-farm-in).
