Cue wins new offshore Carnarvon permit

CUE Energy Resources has been awarded a fourth exploration permit in the northern Carnarvon Basin.

The large WA-389-P permit, which will be explored for both gas-condensate and oil, covers about 3825 square kilometres and lies immediately north of Cue’s existing permits in the area.

Last February, Cue won 50% of the exploration rights to WA-359-P, WA-360-P and WA-361-P.

These leases are immediately adjacent to the producing Goodwyn-Perseus-North Rankin gas-condensate fields and to the newly developed Exeter-Mutineer oil fields complex.
