The campaign will begin with Tawriffic East-1, located near the Worrior oil field in the northern area of PEL 93, in which Stuart has a 70% interest.

The next three exploration wells – Might & Power, Rising Fast and Comic – are located in the “highly prospective” Harpoono area of the Dunoon Ridge in PEL 113. Stuart’s stake in these wells will be 66.7%.

In addition to the exploration program, the company is also planning how to develop the recent Revenue and Rimfire discoveries, where production is expected to start mid-to-late September.

Stuart said its 2005-06 seismic program has identified numerous additional highly prospective drilling opportunities over its Cooper Basin acreage.

“The Harpoono 3D seismic program continues to uncover exciting follow-up opportunities in PEL 113 and the geological team is also working on other potential structures identified by the Sprigg Extension 3D seismic program in PEL 90,” managing director Tino Guglielmo said.

“These opportunities will continue to fuel the company’s growth.”
