“No commercial hydrocarbons were discovered,” the company said this morning.

“Oil shows encountered in the Birkhead and Hutton formations proved to be residual.”

Rogan-1 spudded on December 11 and had a planned total depth of 2622 metres and actually reached 2661 metres. The rig was released at 1pm yesterday (Adelaide time).
