“These results are encouraging as they indicate the presence of gas saturated coals with good permeability,” the company said.
The second drill stem test at the Santos-operated well flowed dry gas at about 65,000 cubic feet per day with a 25 psi surface pressure on a quarter-inch choke at 164 to 180 metres.
Meanwhile, at 218–233 metres, the third drill stem test flowed dry gas at rate of 66,000 cubic feet per day at a 30 psi surface pressure on a quarter-inch choke.
The next core-hole in the program will be Rowallon-3, said the company.
