Pluto intersects huge gas column

THE Pluto-1 exploration well in the Carnavon Basin has reached its total depth of 3,300 metres and preliminary analysis has indicated a gross gas column of about 209 metres, according to Woodside Energy.

Located in WA-350-P, the well is about 110km south-west of the North Rankin Platform. Water depth at the location is 976 metres.

Woodside Energy Ltd. has a 100% interest in the WA-350-Pm lease.
