Six months into the post-injection phase of the study, substantive progress has been made towards accomplishing the four major project objectives.

Also on the agenda is Kevin Dodds from CSIRO who is speaking on Crosswell EM Results for Imaging C02 Plume at the Frio project.
There is considerable international interest in capturing and storing CO2 underground. In Australia during the last few years there has been a large investment in research in this topic through APCRC / GEODISC and more recently CO2CRC. The latter organisation will be undertaking a pilot project of injection and monitoring of supercritical CO2 in a saline reservoir, in Victoria over the next 5 years.
