Located in PEP 38745, the well will drill to a total depth of 1,593 metres, targeting oil plays in the Mt Messenger Formation and Moki Formation sandstones.

The PEP 38745 joint venture participants are Bridge Petroleum Limited (operator) 25%, Westech Energy NZ Limited 50% and Tap (New Zealand) Pty Ltd 25%.
