The first well, Fiddich-1 in WA-226-P, will be drilled in November using the floating drill rig Sedco-703. All other wells will be drilled by jack-up rig Ensco-56 during the coming December-February period.
In its quarterly report, Voyager has also foreshadowed increased development activity for the Cliff Head project. Front end engineering and design for this project was completed in October and operator Roc Oil is scheduling first oil for December 2005. The JV partners have decided to drill two more wells in this field – Cliff Head-5 and Cliff Head-6.
Other wells will be drilled at WA-325-P and WA-327-P where Voyager has a 10% stake, as well as TP/15 where the company has a 15% stake. Voyager is also planning to undertake a land gravity survey and acquire additional 2D seismic at EP 368 – where the company has a 30% stake – in the onshore Perth Basin, an area it considers oil prone.
The company also reports that the Jingemia-4 oil production well was now producing more than 3000 bopd (more than 330 bopd to Voyager) and production rates were expected to increase to budget level during the next quarter.
With a healthy cash flow from Jingemia that is expected to significantly increase in the next quarter, Voyager now has cash reserves of more than $10 million.
