According to the Ministry’s Directorate of Oil and Gas Director-General Iin Arifin Takhyan, “The ten blocks will involve acreage in offshore West Natuna, offshore Northeast Ambalat, offshore Makassar Strait, Arafura, offshore South Sulawesi, offshore Buton and also offshore Northeast Java.”
The official did not elaborate further and no other information was forthcoming.
