Beach told the exchange that the arrival of the drilling rig at the Sellicks well would be delayed by appraisal drilling of the recent Acrasia oil discovery. Participants in Sellicks-1, which is located in PEL 92, are Beach (operator, 75%) and Cooper Energy (25%).
Following the drilling of Sellicks-1, the rig will move to drill a well within PEL 93 for Stuart Petroleum (operator, 70%) and Cooper Energy NL (30%). This well, expected to spud in August, will be followed by an appraisal well on the Paning structure within PEL 90, in which Stuart has a 75% stake and is operator with Cooper holding the remainder.
