The well, which is located in ATP 676P, is currently coring ahead in the Macalister Coal Seam package in the upper sections of the Walloon Coal Measures. Arrow said it will likely drill additional appraisal wells in ATP 676P following a review of the preliminary results of Kogan North-1.
Arrow also told the market it intends to drill four wells in ATP 683P. The proposed wells in ATP 683P are Tipton West-1, Carn Brea-1, Mt Haystack-1 and Glenburie-1. Three of the four wells will be 100% funded by Anzoil NL, who recently farmed into the permit.
One core well, Kindore-1, is planned for ATP 689P which is 55% owned by Arrow but in which the company has an option to acquire 100% on or before 2 July.
Arrow also plans to drill Styx-1 in ATP 700P (Styx Basin), which an in-house resource assessment estimated the gas sales potential to be over 300 billion cubic feet.
Arrow told the market the results of the coring program will allow for a more definitive estimate of the gas-in-place and permeability of the coals to further substantiate the estimated 10 trillion cubic feet sales gas resource potential in Arrow's Walloon CBM project areas and the estimated 100 bcf sales gas resource potential in the Styx Basin.
