Netlink Inspection Systems was chosen by the operator, which has a stringent non-endorsement policy, to supply the Inspection Manager Enterprise System as the asset integrity management system for the inspection.

The Perth-based Netlink is also supplying the manpower to assist in training, mobilisation of the Inspection Manager Enterprise System and is also providing 24 hour support during the inspection and review process.

The region produces nearly all of its state's natural gas requirements and provides a significant proportion of Australia's crude oil.

The operator transports oil and gas from the area via pipeline to a gas processing and crude oil stabilisation plant onshore.

The operator was a key early user of the Inspection Manager software and implemented an early version of the software as a pilot scheme in 1997. Netlink then ran with a long and successful development schedule that was closely linked with the client's requirements.

Many of the features found in the current release of Inspection Manager Enterprise System were initiated from specifications and workflow suggested by the client.

With the customisation capabilities of Inspection Manager Enterprise System, the software can be setup and used as a data repository for integrity data on any asset, including subsea, topside and land based assets.
