Jingemia-3 finds target

The Jingemia-3 appraisal well has intersected the targeted Dongara Sandstone reservoir at around ...

On entering the Dongara Sandstone reservoir 100% fluorescence was encountered, which persisted for 5m and equates with the most likely oil water contact identified in Jingemia-1.

Evaluation of additional wireline logs will assist in determining both the reservoir quality and thickness of the hydrocarbon column.

Jingemia-3 is being sidetracked from the number 2 well bore to intersect the top Dongara Sandstone at a location roughly 400m to the north of the Jingemia-2 intersection. This sidetrack is designated to intersect improved reservoir quality and provide a point for water injection to provide reservoir pressure support.

Participants in EP 413 and Jingemia-2 are Origin Energy Developments (operator) 49.189%, Hardman Oil and Gas 22.376%, AWE (Perth Basin) 15.245%, Voyager Energy 6.270%, Victoria Petroleum 5 %, Norwest Energy 1.278%, Roc Oil (WA) 0.250%, ARC Energy 0.250% and John Kevin Geary 0.142%.
