Critical buffer completed

THE final pipe in Statoil's 482.4km-long Polarled pipeline was laid at the Aasta Hansteen field this week, opening up a new "highway for gas" from the Norwegian Sea to Europe and providing a critical geopolitical buffer against Russian power.
