CB&I wins BP pipeline contract

A BP-led consortium has awarded energy infrastructure specialist CB&I an $US85 million ($A90.5 million) project management services contract for the South Caucasus pipeline expansion project in Azerbaijan.

This award builds on the successful relationship between CB&I and BP and is a testament of the customer's confidence in our experience and ability to engineer this critical infrastructure," CB&I engineering construction and maintenance operating group president Patrick Mullen said.

The gas pipeline will link up the Shah Deniz field in the Caspian Sea to Turkey and Georgia.
