A company statement said Norwest, with the trading code NUX (ISIN code AU000000NWE2), was listed on the third segment (Freiverkehr) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The company said the new listing gave it increased exposure to worldwide capital markets and enabled European investors to trade Norwest Energy shares in euros.

Norwest has recently farmed into some North Sea exploration blocks in conjunction with Nido Petroleum.

In October last year, Strike Oil announced it had been listed without its knowledge on the Regulated Unofficial Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Berlin Bremer Stock Exchange.

Antares Energy (then Amity Oil) also listed on the Berlin and Frankfurt stock exchanges in the same month as part of an official financial marketing strategy for its Turkish business development.
