Nominations open for solar design and installation awards

THE Clean Energy Council has called for industry nominations for the annual Solar Design and Installation awards.

The award is given to rooftop solar installers and designed who have worked on an interesting, innovative or technically challenging solar project over the last 12 months.

Winners will be announced at the All-Energy Australia conference in Sydney in October.

Applications for the awards will be accepted until September 6, with finalists announced on October 11.

The winners of the 2022 awards included a stunning 24.4-kilowatt system at a home in East Albury, New South Wales, an innovative 67.6 kW system at the Brisbane headquarters of the Australian Tax Office and an inspiring 1.2 MW system at Queensland's Sheldon College incorporating monitoring software for students to understand more about solar.

The awards have been run since 2015.
