Former energy regulator to head SA power distributor

Lew Owens will take up his role as chief executive officer with the electricity producer in August, ETSA said yesterday.

Owens resigned from his position as state regulator with the South Australian Essential Service Commission in April.

His appointment to ETSA replaced chief executive Basil Scarsella who left the position in April after 10 years at the company to join Northern Gas Networks in the United Kingdom.
