Speaking at the Council of Australian Government's energy review, ACF strategies director, Michael Krockenberger said that electricity generation was estimated to be responsible for almost 40% of Australia's greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr Krockenberger said his organisation wanted customer's bills to disclose the greenhouse gas emissions created in generating electricity, and far greater government incentives for innovative technologies.

He added that he would also like membership of the review panel to be widened to include experts in renewable energy demand management or energy efficiency.
