APPEA welcomes EPA frac report

THE Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association has welcomed the US Environmental Protection Agency's findings, after five years of research, that hydraulic fracturing poses minimal risk to groundwater resources – at least as far as the sparse data can tell for wells drilled in the continental US.
