Butlers-4 adds to PEL 92 success

BEACH Energy has cased and suspended its Butlers-4 as a Namur sandstone producer, ending its 15-well 2011 drilling program in the Cooper Basin's PEL 92 on a high note.

Butlers-4 was drilled to a total depth of 1393 metres and wireline logs confirmed it had intersected a 7.5m oil column in excellent quality Namur sandstone reservoir, in line with pre-drill expectations....
