Central CSG program roars ahead

CENTRAL Petroleum has had a good start with its five-well coal seam gas drilling program in the Pedirka Basin with the first well returning encouraging results for the CSG potential of the basin.

The company said the CBM 93004 reached a total depth of 978m on December 31, 2009 and encountered significant thicknesses of coal while initial gas desorption results varied from fair to excellent. ...
