Central begins Pedirka drilling

CENTRAL Petroleum has kicked off a five-well coal seam gas drilling program which is targeting up to 70 trillion cubic feet of prospective resources in the Pedirka Basin, central Australia.

The drilling campaign began with the spudding of the CBM 93004 well in EP 93 on Friday. The well is 9km north of the CBM 93001 well drilled last year and will target the Permian Purni formation coals,...
