Exxon to start Kipper drilling in 2010

EXXONMOBIL will start drilling development in early 2010 at its Kipper Gas Project in Bass Strait using the Ocean Patriot semi-submersible rig.

The rig was secured under an agreement with Apache Energy and rig owner Diamond Offshore, and is expected to take 3-6 months to complete drilling operations, Gippsland Project executive David Kudlak said....
