In North Dakota at the company's South Antelope Prospect, operator Helis Oil and Gas spudded the Levang 4-13H well on July 12.
The well is drilling ahead at 1133m towards its total depth of 4724m.
Once drilling operations at Levang 4-13H are completed, the operator is planning to spud the State 4-36H well, Sundance said.
Also at South Antelope, the Peterson 15-5H well was fracture stimulated in three of six intervals with limited success due to high frac pressures.
Sundance said the well is flowing back frac fluid and has averaged 173 barrels of oil per day and 240,000 cubic feet of gas in the first 12 days of production.
Operator Helis Oil and Gas is studying the initial results and the frac procedure before proposing frac procedures for the remaining intervals, the company added.
Meanwhile over in Colorado's DJ Basin, the May Jon 23-5D3 well was placed on first gas sales on July 1 and produced an average of 825,000cfd of gas and 4bpd of oil in the first 10 days.
Sundance said the well would be produced for several months from the J sand before completing the Codell and Niobrara formations.
The company also placed the May Jon 1 well back on production on July 11 after the well was shut-in to allow drilling operations to proceed.
According to the company, the well continues to flow back the remaining frac fluid while selling increasing volumes of oil and gas.
Sundance owns 100% of the May Jon Prospect.
