In Kansas, the company reported that the Carmichael-Kollman Central Unit-2 well encountered multiple potential pay zones in the Plattsmouth, Lansing B, F, G, I and K formations, as well as three vertically separated reservoirs in the Arbuckle Sand.
This is the third successful well to be completed in Amadeus’ current Kansas drilling program.
Meanwhile in Texas, the Paine-46 well took four days to reach a total depth of 3500 feet.
Amadeus said the well encountered oil pays in the Paine and Woodley intervals.
This well is in the same fault block as the Paine-45 well, which is currently being produced from the Woodley Sand.
Paine-46 is Amadeus’ second successful well in the current round of drilling at Raccoon Bend.
