A Mitchell rig is due to start moving towards the first well location, Natasha-1, in the next two days, with drilling to start at the end of this week.

Following this well, the rig will be used to drill Lydia-1.

In addition, Icon said it has almost finished preparing the Stitch-1 well site and has installed water lines.

“The rig we are proposing to use is stacked and ready to move, and the mobilisation is to be shared between three parties,” Icon said.

“One of the parties has not yet confirmed the contract but is expected to do so within days.”
