Amadeus waits on equipment as next Kansas well is completed

AMADEUS Energy has continued its run of good fortune in the United States, with news its operator...

The Chapman-10 well yesterday reached a total depth of 3900 feet (1188m), having encountered oil shows in the Arbuckle and Lansing Kansas City formations. Pipe has now been set and the well is awaiting completion.

Also at the White Eagle project, the Wokaty-5 exploration well is waiting for a pumping unit to be installed later this week, before being put onto production.

The well, which has been completed, reached a total depth of 3700ft.

The joint venture is also waiting for a drilling rig to spud the next well in the project, Husted-13, which is also targeting the Arbuckle and Lansing Kansas City zones.

Amadeus holds an 85% stake in White Eagle, and owns 79.9% of the Chapman-10 well, while Texas-based TNT Engineering holds the remainder and is operator.

In Texas’ Shackelford County, the same JV is waiting on a part to repair the rig before drilling can continue on its Nail Ranch-32 well, which has a target depth of 1200ft. Amadeus holds a 76.955% interest in this project.
