Junior partner Drillsearch said all three wells had encountered good reservoir quality in the Birkhead Formation.
Operator Santos used the Rig PDI-724 to drill Endeavour-14, which encountered about 11m of net oil pay in the upper Birkhead reservoir. This well has been cased and suspended as a future water injection well.
Likewise, the Mulberry-25 development well will also become a water injection well after intersecting 4m of oil pay in the mid Birkhead reservoir unit.
Immediately after drilling this well, the Rig PDI-735 moved to the Mulberry-19 well location, which then encountered about 7m of net oil pay. As a result, this well is being cased and suspended for oil production.
