Libris gets sidetracked: Tap

Libris-ST1 is in the northern portion of permit WA-246-P.

As at 8am today, the well had drilled ahead to 2657m of measured depth. Casing is currently being run and the well will be drilled to the proposed total depth of 3486m in the next 10 days, Tap said.

Libris-1 is exploring for hydrocarbons in the Upper Angel Formation and will also test for hydrocarbons at the Lower Angel Formation level.

The WA-246-P joint venture comprises Apache Northwest (operator with a 45% stake), Kufpec Australia (20%), Santos (15%), Tap (Harriet) (10%) and Pan Pacific Petroleum (10%).
