Petsec spuds final well in GoM program

The G-6 well will also be the first well drilled on the Main Pass 18 block, north of Main Pass 19, 128km southeast of New Orleans, where Petsec recently drilled three successful wells.

Drilling is expected to take 21 days to reach a planned total depth of 3958m. The well was spudded in 12m of water.

The four wells were testing mapped potential of about 15 to 18 billion cubic feet equivalent of gas net to Petsec.

Petsec has a 100% working interest and 83.3% net revenue interest in the Main Pass 18 field.
