Planet looks good at the halfway mark

Initial data from the electric logs and gas detection run were described by the company as very encouraging. They indicated about 25.9 metres (85 feet) of gassy coal intersections within horizons of the Fort Union and Wasatch Formations, which are the primary coalbed methane targets.

The stratigraphic drilling program is conducted by Planet’s wholly owned subsidiary, Pauper’s Dream Company. It is designed to confirm previous total coal isopach (thickness) mapping and assess the in-situ gas of each coal horizon before beginning the development drilling program.
