The three wells – Snell Heirs 9-13, 4-19 and 5-19 were drilled as offset wells to three discovery wells.
They were intended to allow early production and cashflow from the relatively shallow and accessible secondary objectives while Tomahawk waited to fracture treat the primary objectives.
Snell Heirs 4-19 and 5-19 are already producing at 500 thousand and 300 thousand cubic feet per day respectively. Snell Heirs 9-13 will be fracced in the coming week to allow oil production from the Savannah Sands.
Tomahawk has a 50% working interest in each of these wells. It claims it now has three producing wells providing an annualised cashflow in excess of $1.5 million per year.
The company also has four more wells where the primary objective, the Caney Shale, has been fracced and is expected to be brought into full production within the next four months, plus two more wells that are awaiting fracture treatment to be completed.
