Beach adds another Kenmore oil producer

The test – over the interval 1367–1377m in the Birkhead Formation – recovered 34 barrels of clean oil in pipe.

Beach said it anticipated the well would begin production in January 2005, and with Kenmore-31 the field’s initial combined production rate was expected to be in the vicinity of 500 barrels of oil per day.

Kenmore-32 was the second well in a five-well infill drilling program. The wells remaining to be drilled are Kenmore-33, Bodalla South-15 and Coolum-1, an exploration well in ATP 269P.

Beach Petroleum owns 100% of the Kenmore Field.
