Test 2 was conducted over the Upper Qishn S2 Sandstone intervals 1,696 to 1,702 metres and 1,702 and 1,705.5 metres.
A third test will be conducted over the Qishn S1 Sandstone between 1,670 to 1,676 metres, which is interpreted to be potentially oil-bearing based on electric log evaluation.
Preliminary results from Test 1 indicated the well was flowing 1,278 bopd, 1,054 bwpd and 174 Mscf/d.
Following the completion of the Nabrajah-3 test program the well will be suspended and the rig moved to the Nabrajah-4 location, which is located 800 metres east of the Nabrajah-1 surface location.
Nabrajah-3 is the second well in an appraisal drilling program to determine the size and commercial viability of the Nabrajah discovery.
The Nabrajah-3 well is being drilled from the same surface location as Nabrajah-1, with a planned bottom-hole location about 1.1km north-east of the Nabrajah-1 bottom-hole location.
Interests in Nabrajah-3 are: DNO ASA 56.67% (operator), Oil Search (Yemen) Limited 28.33% and the Yemen Company 15% (carried).
