DRILLING

Tomahawk spuds follow-up to Snell Heirs

Fresh from the success of its Snell Heirs 6–13 well Tomahawk Energy has spudded Snell Heirs 7-13, the second of five proposed wells to be drilled in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma over the next five months.

Initial analysis of the logs on the Snell Heirs 6-13 well indicate several potential hydrocarbon bearing zones in both the shallow and deep secondary targets as well as the deeper primary objective.

Further analysis is currently being undertaken with the view to planning a comprehensive testing program.

Tomahawk is funding all drilling and completion costs to earn a 75% interest (56.25% after royalties) in a five well drilling program, reducing to 50% (37.5% after royalties) once all expenditure has been recouped.
