Monet paints a pretty picture for Harriet

Located in TL/1, the well was drilled from the Simpson Bravo Platform and is a horizontal production well in the Flag Sandstone of the Monet Field, approximately 3.5km northeast of the platform.

The Monet Oil Field is relatively small, however the JV partners say the rapid cycle time from discovery to first oil production using existing infrastructure makes the economics robust.

Discovered less than three months ago the Monet Oil Field is typical of these types of Flag sandstone fields, production rates will decline from present levels within a few months with the field expected to have a life of around two years.

Harriet Joint Venture participants are Tap Oil 12.2229%, Apache Energy (Operator) 68.5% and Kufpec Australia 19.2771%.
