Bargie-4, was an appraisal well within the Bargie Field, located 55km from the township of Eromanga in southwest Queensland. The well was designed to test the crest of the Bargie structure at the Basal Jurassic level.

Recent interpretation of seismic data indicated more than 2.6sqkm of areal closure updip of the producing Bargie-1 well.

The rig will now move to the Kenmore-29 location in PL 32 and this well is expected to spud on or about Friday 7 November.

Participants in the ATP 269P Joint Venture are Beach Petroleum Ltd (operator) 93.9% and Inland Oil 6.1%. Beach Petroleum has a 100% interest in PL 32.
