Saintly looks to reward the faithful

Operator Stuart Petroleum said it was running a wiper trip prior to pulling out of the hole for DST 1 to test hydrocarbon shows in the Murta formation, over the interval 1206–1237 metres.

It said the results of the test, which will commence late this evening or at first light tomorrow, will be reported as soon as they are known.

After being one of the recent Cooper Basin leaders, recently Beach’s luck with the drill bit has proved elusive.

The planned total depth is 1660 metres.

Interests in PEL 113, COOPER/EROMANGA BASIN, SA are Stuart Petroleum Limited (Operator) 66.7% and Beach Petroleum Limited 33.3%.
