Enfield 5 confirms reservoir

The Enfield-5 well has confirmed the estimated volumes of the Enfield discovery, after achieving a 64 metre gross gas column in the latest well.

The estimated combined total volumes of the Enfield, Laverda and Vincent discoveries in WA-271P are in excess of 310 million barrels of oil.

Initial conceptual field designs centre around an FPSO with subsea completions to the three fields. The Sedco 702 was preparing to move off location after plugging and abandoning the well. Woodside control 100% of the permit.
