A well report this morning said the well was plugged and abandoned after encountering sub-commercial quantities of gas in the basal Callamurra formation.

The well, 130km northeast of Moomba, had reached a TD of 2737 metres and was preparing to release the rig.

Both companies were steady on the ASX, with Stuart adding 1c to be trading at 76c.

Interests are Stuart (75%, operator) and Beach (25%).
