Victoria Petroleum's 5% stake in the West San Antonio-1 well in California has yielded nought, with the hole being plugged and abandoned following the absence of hydrocarbons.
"The Operator Trio Petroleum Inc has advised that West San Antonio-1 has reached final total depth of 1988 metres and following the absence of hydrocarbons in the target section, the well has been plugged and abandoned," said a VicPet company statement.
