Another Gocerler well completed for production: Amity

With recently completed wireline logs indicating the presence of two gas bearing zones in the primary Danismen Formation objective, Amity Oil and its Turkish partner have decided to complete the Gocerler-4 well for production.

Another Gocerler well completed for production: Amity

Amity said a 28 metre gross gas column was indicated between 1268 and 1296 metres, with 18m of net gas pay in good reservoir sandstone. A second gas zone was interpreted between 1252 and 1256m.

Amity said both zones correlate with the producing Gocerler-1 and Gocerler-3 wells and so Gocerler-4 will be completed for production and tied into the gas processing plant.

Amity operates the Thrace Joint Venture on behalf of Turkiye Petrolleri AO (50%) and Amity Oil (50%).
